Home to Erciyes University and connected to the city centre by tram. İkon GYO has two projects in Talas.
Talas is one of the four central districts of Kayseri, with a population of around 172,000. The single most defining feature of the district is Erciyes University, founded in 1978, together with its university hospitals. This gives the district a stable population of students, academics and healthcare staff.
Talas is connected to the city centre by rail. The T2 tram line, in service since 2014, is 10 kilometres long with 18 stations; it passes the Erciyes University hospitals and terminates in old Talas (Cemil Baba). A further line, T4, links the Mevlana neighbourhood to Cumhuriyet Square.
Suited to those working around the university and hospitals, buyers who want to live close to the tram, and anyone looking for a location away from the density of the centre but still easy to reach.
