Fonart Beyazşehir is a mixed-use project of 70 homes and 7 commercial units with a construction area of 12,525 m², located in the Beyazşehir area of Kocasinan. Construction began in 2020 and the project was completed and handed over in 2023. The apartments are planned as 3+1 units.
The design decision behind Beyazşehir was to bring housing and commerce together in the same building without one disturbing the other. The 7 commercial units at ground level allow residents to meet their daily needs within the development, while residential entrances were separated from commercial circulation. The scale of 70 homes was set with a balance in mind: large enough to form the fabric of a neighbourhood, not so large as to become anonymous.
Kocasinan is one of the most densely populated districts of Kayseri. The Beyazşehir project is a completed example demonstrating İkon GYO's delivery capacity in this area: a 12,525 m² building delivered as planned within a three-year construction schedule. The architectural design of the project was carried out by the internationally awarded İkon Proje Architects. The building was constructed in compliance with the earthquake code in force at the time of handover, and building inspection was carried out by independent authorised bodies.
